Girls Week

One of my best friends got married today. Heather Back Harmon was married in the Salt Lake Temple. She looked so pretty and I absolutly loved her dress. I wish I could have enjoyed the amazing day with her....Kids are priority




Becca was in town for Heathers wedding and has been staying with me. We have had so much fun watching shows and playing games. It feels like old times I love it. The problem is that we stay up late and I have to get up early with kids while she gets to sleep in. I am jealous. We were able to get some of the girls together to have lunch. It was so fun to see Elisa, Heather, Becca, and Abby (Abby is missing in the pic)

A bunch of my family got together tonight and had a party. We let the kids swim, had some dinner, and pulled out the Wii Fit. Now I don't know if many of you have played it but we had a blast. I do realize there are no pictures of me. I looked so cool that I didn't want to make anyone else feel dumb...actually I looked totally stupid and I refuse to put them on here. THe funnies game to watch was deffinitly the hoola hoop. We were just rolling. I haven't cried that hard in a long time. I hope you all get a chance to try it sometime.

Run...walk....okay neither

So exercise has been a bit of a struggle lately. Kevin has been studying like crazy so we have been a bit on our own. That means I get to take the boys to exercise. First I try to run with them...then Andrew wants to walk and so I decide to walk instead. Our walk then turns into finding rocks to toss into the river and making boats to float down the gutters and finding any and every animal to pet and feed if possible. I shouldn't complain because walks are some of the boys favorite things to do and they get so excited. I guess I will just have to wait until after Sat. and I can get my exercise in.

Opposites

Our two boys look completely different. One blonde one brown...one fair one olive...one blue eyed one brown eyed...one was bald one with enough hair for pigtails. And yes they are both mine and Kevins if anyone was wondering. Anyway, I find this so funny because depending on who you talk to they think each of them looks EXACTLY like both of us. I will be with Andrew and one person thinks he looks just like me. The next person think he looks just like Kevin and Jackson looks just like me. I thought it might be fun to see what you think

My Boys

This is a great picture of my boys at the Zoo. Life is great. We have been loving the great weather and hope to have more. We spend every day outside finding playgrounds, going to the Zoo, playing with friends, swimming and going for walks. I didn't realize how much I love good weather until you have a kid that loves it and lives to be outside.

Well now I have now realized that I am not a very great blogger. I try but it just seems like time passes to quickly and once again I have not blogged for a month or two. Our life is great. I love that I get to be with my three amazing boys. Andrew and Jackson look completely different and also have very different personalities. Andrew was easy. He always slept never really had too many tantrums but also we had a hard time getting him to smile and laugh. Jackson on the other hand has been a stink about sleeping and about tantrums. He does smile all the time and is laughing at everything. I just sove that Jackson and Andrew are responding to each other and get eachother laughing all the time. We have had some fun trips to St George and we had Andrews birthday party which was a lot of fun. Other than that we are just excited for the warm weather that will hopefully soon stick around for more than one day at a time.

New Arrival

Our little guy has arrived! We are so excited. I went in last friday to be induced and had him about 2;30 that afternoon. He weighed 8 lbs even and was 22 and a half inches long and had a 34 cm head. Andrew was just an ounce smaller but had a larger head so we were thrilled that his was smaller. We named him Jackson David Hinton. We got home from the hospital on sunday and we are now just trying to get used to having 2 kids and getting very little sleep. Life is great and we are so excited Jackson has arrived safe and sound.

Welcome, Baby Jackson!

At 2:43 in the afternoon on October 19th, 2007 Jackson was born. He weighed in at 8 pounds and he was 22.5 inches long. Thankfully, he had a smaller head than Andrew, but there was still plenty of pain involved. Jackson is pretty much the cutest thing that anyone has ever seen (maybe a tie with Andrew).

This summer has been so much fun for us. I have been a horrible blogger so I have decided to fill you all in. We have been crazy trying to do everything from Lake Powel to Camping to the County Fair to bike riding and of course everything in between. We have loved every second of it.
One interresting thing was that I opened the newspaper today and noticed that children under the age of 5 are not allowed in public swimming pools because of something being spread around. Well pretty sure we got it. They said that small children and pregnant woman are most likely to get it. Andrew was sick for awhile and had to be tested. We just assumed it was from Lake Powell but little did we know it was from the local pool. Funny hu?
We have been able to spend some time with friends who have come in town. It sure does make us miss them and glad we got to spend some time with them.
We are doing great and are excited for this new adventure of another baby. We still have so many things to fit in before he comes. Next weekend we are going camping again and then waterskiing...okay so being about 8 months prego and trying to camp is a bit hard but worth it for sure when I see how much fun Andrew has. We are also trying to fit in some other fun things so we need this baby to stay in for a little bit.

Lake Powell!!!!

I think my favorite place in the whole world is Lake Powell. We were able to go down and enjoy the warm weather last week. Of course skiing and wakeboarding seemed to be more tempting than ever since I was not able to do anything. I was able to make some great sand castles. No I can't complain I mean I was in Lake Powell.

Andrew loved everything about the trip. He even enjoyed the StingRay (A big tube puled behind the boat) He scares me a bit because he has no fear. He thinks it is so much fun to jump in and go under the water and make me panic. Thank goodness for lifejackets hu?

We had a great time. I did get a bit dehydrated and ended up in the hospital the night we got home. All is well now and we are gearing up for our next adventure to Powell.

We have had an amazing summer thus far. I am getting fat and I am happy as ever. I am about 22 weeks and the time is just flying and our little baby boy will be here sooner than we think. We are swimming all the time and just enjoy being outside. Andrew is our little fish and will find water wherever he can. He also enjoys all of his many friends. He is now playing with the kids rather than just playing next to them. We have been on the go like crazy so my blogs have been few and far between but life is good and we are all healthy and happy.
